On Monday 12th March we celebrated Diversity day with French as our whole school focus.
In foundation stage we had a great day looking at France as our country.
The children participated in a Disco dance class following instructions in French: un, deux, trois!
Our next task was to construct the magnificent Eiffel Tower, we made our own towers using construction sets.
What a treat for us to try fantastic French food, baguettes, homemade French onion soup, croissants, pain au chocolat and we even braved some “stinky” brie cheese!
We learnt to say hello in French and say our name and at the end the day we learnt to sing Frere Jacques.
What a busy day we had!
